I want to learn English

  • How do you not give up on English after a couple of weeks, when the initial enthusiasm has disappeared? This is the third time I've started and each time I give up because everything seems too routine. What really keeps you in the process?

  • I totally get where you're coming from! The initial excitement can fade quickly when the novelty wears off, but I think the key is to set small, achievable goals and celebrate those little wins. Whether it's mastering a new word or understanding a tricky grammar rule, those small victories keep you motivated. Also, try to make it fun—watch shows or listen to music in English, or even find a language buddy to practice with. It’s all about making it feel less like a routine and more like part of your everyday life! Keep going—you’ve got this!

  • I took english classes too.

  • It's the ambition to study abroad that keeps me learning, trying hard everyday.

  • I’ve struggled with the same thing, starting with excitement, then slowly losing motivation when it gets repetitive. What helps me now is focusing on small, daily habits rather than big goals. I try to enjoy the process by watching shows I like in English, talking with others (even just short messages), and reminding myself that progress is slow, but it’s real. It’s okay to feel stuck sometimes. The key is to keep showing up, even just a little each day.
