100ah battery with bluetooth - Bluetooth has died

  • Ive got a brand new LifePO4 12.8v 100AH batter with the bluetooth option (the black battery with the orange logo, as opposed to the more expensive all orange model).

It was working great when initially testing when I installed it in our van, I could see charge / disharge, and all the stats you would expect using the Eco Worth app.

Suddenly and for no particular reason (wasnt touching the battery) I noticed that the app could no longer connect. The battery was charging from 90% and was at around 99%.

The bluetooth module is now totally dead, its been another 24 hours, and the bluetooh ID which the app was connected to no longer broadcasts.

It appears there are no buttons or switches of any kind, and that the battery is sealed, so I assume there is nothing I can do here other than return the battery?

Has anybody got any idea how this could of happened, or any advise please?

  • I have the same issue, battery has only been installed for a couple of weeks and when it was charging beyond 90%, i can no longer connect to the app. I've removed it and tried to reinstall, the app if very rudimental and doesn't give much functionality, it circles the scan function and says confirm no connection. i've deleted the app and reinstalled and will try again tomorrow. This doesn't give much confidence as you want to have some control over what the battery is doing.

This is my first charging cycle to get to 100%!!

    Does anyone have any help?
