ECOMPPT60A bluetooth connection failed

  • I had a professional installer put in my Eco Worthy system. I have a 60A MPPT controller and my Android phone keeps failing to connect over bluetooth. The Eco Worthy app sees the controller, but when I try to connect it says "connection failed." I even tried the app Solar Mate, which also sees it, but fails to connect.

I can connect to both of my batteries no problem at all. I even removed them, rebooted my phone, then reconnected. The controller just won't connect.

Some Googling results say reboot the controller. How? Will I lose settings? I don't see how to power cycle it. I also wouldn't know how to reprogram it if it lost any settings.

    Any help would be great!

  • I design and install solar systems on trailers and other off-grid platforms. I would like to continue to user your product. Howerver I have the same problem with the MPPT and the BT-02 connecting. Anthoney asked about this and no reply from you or anyone. I have called for support and no reply. I guess the message from you is to not use your product.

    1. Which software do I need to use for a iPhone (will it work on an iPhone?) or a MS computer.

    2. what are the settings for the Solar Mate software? Bluetooth Monitor BT-02 recognized. It recognizes the MPPT Contorller. Device number ? and second parameter? 0? or

    3. Eco-worthy software - installed on iPhone. Bluetooth "No device" Solar Mate does recognize the MPPT device and the BT-02. Manual shows mobile phone, and speaks to software needed but doesn't mention the sofware by name. Is the Eco-Worthy software only for Android phones" What about iPhones? Manual shows appple Store and Android but again not the name of the software to install. (Eco-Worthy Solare Panel Kit  Version 1.0
