I am trying to power most circuits in my home from the split phase 10k with battery back for frequent power outage. That includes my detached garage which has an expensive underground run of 6g wire for a 50amp 240 sub panel that pays the whole garage including occasional mig welding.
So can I run my mig through the 10k inverter while on grid power? I certainly has the amp and watt ratings but something tells me running a welder won't be great for it's internals.
