Eco-Worthy 3500w AIO will not send more than 500watts from Gen to Battery

  • I recently installed an Eco-worthy 3500w, with one eco-worthy 100ah server battery, and 2x 440w PV for a total of 880w-DC.
Currently set up open-loop with desired values for "boost", float, and recover voltages.
"mains" are connected to Generator, to be fired up manually if and when needed.

PV, inverter, and battery all seem to be working ok..... Big problem is I cannot get the Generator to add more than 500watts to the battery no matter what I do with various settings. I want 10a=1200watts, and cannot get anything other than 500w

Any ideas? could this be be because I do not have BMS communication set up between inverter and battery ? or a bug ?
