Can I configure it to (1) make sure no power is ever fed back to the grid, and (2) limit amperage it will draw from grid input to 30 amps ?

Not sure about the feed back to Grid answer.
I don't see anything about limitied grid input power. You can set #28, Charging under Grid Electricity Value which should limit it bypass current plus the charge current (you can set)
Yes, most 48 V 5 kW hybrid inverters can be configured for both.
Preventing export to the grid:
Look for a setting like “Zero-export,” “No-feed-in,” or “Grid-feedback = Off.” When enabled, the inverter will only supply your loads and will not push any power back to the utility.
Limiting grid input current:
There is usually a parameter such as “AC input current limit,” “Grid charge current,” or “Max AC draw.” Set this to 30 A (or whatever your Google Doodle Baseball circuit allows). This caps how much current the inverter pulls from the grid for charging + load support.
Exact menu names vary by brand, but nearly all hybrids support both functions.
