Battery was delivered with Fedex on time! Only 3 days from the warehouse to Washington. Excellent packing. All screws, fasteners and manuals were in the box. You could not do a better job. I charged the battery until one cell went in to cell over voltage protection. Then I top balanced the cells with the BMS. It only took 36 hours to reach 6 mV delta @ 14.5 V. Having in mind that we are dealing with 400 Ah cells that is really fast. The ECO-WORTHY app is at best mediocre. But as it is a JBD BMS you can use XiaoxiangBMS or the Overkill Solar app. Both are a much better. I was surprised that the bluetooth connection worked as good as it does having in mind that the BMS is inside a metall case.
I installed the ECO-WORTHY 12V 400Ah LiFePO4 battery in my camper van build, and I have been extremely impressed with the amount of power this battery provides. The biggest reason I chose this battery was the capacity. Having 400Ah in a single battery gives me a huge amount of usable energy without needing multiple batteries taking up valuable space.
With this battery, I can stay off-grid and explore remote areas much longer without constantly worrying about running out of power. It gives me the confidence to run my essential van electronics, lights, refrigerator, fans, and other accessories while camping away from hookups.
One feature I really appreciate is the metal casing. Living in Arizona, summer temperatures can be extreme, and having a durable metal enclosure gives me extra peace of mind compared to a standard plastic battery case. The build quality feels very solid and well suited for an RV or van environment where the battery experiences heat, vibration, and movement.
The built-in 250A BMS is another great feature. Knowing the battery has protection against overcharging, over-discharging, over-current, and temperature issues makes me feel much safer using it in my electrical system.
The Bluetooth monitoring is also very convenient. Being able to check the battery status, voltage, and remaining capacity from my phone makes managing my power system much easier.
Overall, this battery has been a great upgrade for my camper van. The combination of massive capacity, strong metal housing, built-in safety features, and reliable performance makes it a great choice for anyone building an RV, camper van, or off-grid power system. I’m excited to spend more time exploring remote places knowing I have plenty of power stored.
